Fees
In short1.5% of every trade. A third back to traders in $HILL, a third buys and burns $HILL, a third runs The Hill.
One fee. 1.5% of every trade, buy or sell, on every chain. It's taken inside the trade, so the quote you see is what you get.
No deposit fee. No withdrawal fee beyond the network's own cost. No monthly anything.
Where it goes
The fee splits three equal ways, and two of the three go straight back into $HILL.
Paid to every trader on their volume, in $HILL bought on the market. No new tokens are ever minted.
Buys $HILL on the market and burns it. Supply only ever goes down.
Market data, wallets, servers, the gas we pay for you, and getting the word out.
A $200 buy costs $3.00 in fees. $1.00 of that comes back to traders as $HILL, $1.00 buys $HILL and burns it. Nothing else is charged; the network fee on Solana, Base and Robinhood Chain is on us.
An example
You buy $200 of a coin.
| Fee | $3.00 |
| Back to traders (in $HILL) | $1.00 |
| Bought and burned | $1.00 |
| Keeps The Hill running | $1.00 |
Across the whole platform, every dollar of trading sends two thirds of its fee back into $HILL, one way or the other. The $HILL token.
Other costs you might see
- Price impact. Big orders in small pools move the price. The quote shows it before you confirm.
- Cross-chain hop. Buying on a different chain from where your money sits costs a few cents to move it. Also in the quote.
- Ethereum gas. On Ethereum mainnet, network fees are real money and are shown in the quote. On every other chain we pay them. One balance, every chain.
- The router's share. The swap routers we use keep a small slice of our fee for the routing. That comes out of our side, never yours.
